Photograph: the church mural with Fr. Pascall and parishioners
[Description] Some seventeen parishioners — mostly young people — pose in rows on the steps in front of the large mural Fr. Pascall had painted on the front of the church (per Robin). Fr. Pascall sits front and centre in white, arms folded, wearing his glasses. The mural behind them is a tropical scene: parrots and other birds, palm trees, and a thatched hut.
[Restoration note] The print had faded badly, as colour prints of the era do. This copy is cropped to the photograph, with its colour, saturation, contrast and sharpness restored as far as the faded dyes allow. The untouched master (book2-p010.jpg) preserves the print as it survives.
