Trinidad born, Father Pascall, has left the Catholic Secretariat here and Father Forde, (another Trinidadian) a Holy Ghost father is now the new director...Mrs. Dione Hyles remains the co-ordinator and Sister Jasinta, the secretary...nothing personal, but the College St. Secretariat will never be the same without Father Pascall who has made his name in this community as the most popular priest...entrepreneur...radical...all-rounder...it was considered the normal thing for him to visit homes to hold services...christenings...weddings...he took the church to the people...he even served communion on visits...he has christened more babies and hitched more couples than you could ever imagine...not to mention he is the greatest swinger at any session and even has his drinks 'spiked' quite frequently...now that Father Pascall has left...whatever is going to happen to that long list of believers who have been waiting patiently for him to officiate at their weddings, christenings, etc...sorry, I am nosey - but I wonder if he was asked to leave and if he has actually resigned from the priesthood?...
